Privacy Policy — Namaz Vakitleri

Namaz Vakitleri ("the app") is designed to respect your privacy. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no developer-operated server. The developer does not collect, store, or receive any personal data.

What the app does with your data

Location. With your permission, the app uses your device location for two things only, both performed on your device:

• Calculating your local prayer times.
• Pointing the Qibla compass toward the Kaaba.

Your location is never sent to the developer (there is no server to send it to). To turn your coordinates into a readable city name, the app may use your operating system's built-in geocoder (provided by Apple), which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

City search. If you search for a city in Settings instead of using GPS, the app sends only the text you type (for example, "Istanbul") to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service to look up that city's coordinates. Your GPS position is not sent, and no identifier about you is attached to the request. See the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.

Settings you choose (language, selected location, calculation method, notification preferences, recent searches) are stored only on your device and are not transmitted anywhere. Prayer notifications are scheduled locally on your device; no push server is involved.

What the app does NOT do

• It does not create an account or ask you to sign in.
• It does not contain ads or third-party advertising/analytics SDKs.
• It does not track you across apps or websites.
• It does not sell or share any data.

Permissions

• Location (When In Use): prayer-time accuracy and the Qibla direction.
• Motion & orientation: the compass reads the magnetometer to point toward the Qibla.
• Notifications: optional, local-only alerts at the prayer times you select.

You can deny or revoke these in iOS Settings at any time; the app remains usable by searching for a city manually.

This page is a static document. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
