Frequently asked
- The times look slightly different from my local mosque.
- Open Settings → Calculation method. The default is Diyanet (Türkiye). Choose the method your region/mosque uses, and pick Standard or Hanafi for the Asr time. The preview at the top updates instantly so you can compare. Times are calculated astronomically and may differ from printed local calendars by a few minutes.
- How do I change my city?
- Settings → Location. Turn on Auto location to use GPS, or turn it off and search for any city by name.
- How do prayer notifications work?
- Turn them on under Settings → Prayer notifications and pick the prayers you want. Alerts are scheduled on your device — no account, no push server. Opening the app from time to time keeps the schedule topped up.
- The Qibla compass isn't moving / seems off.
- Hold the phone flat and move it in a figure-8 to calibrate the magnetometer. Make sure Location permission is granted, and keep away from metal objects and magnets.
- Do I need an internet connection?
- No. After your city is set, prayer times and the Qibla work completely offline. Internet is only used when you actively search for a city by name.
- Which languages are supported?
- Turkish, English and German. Change it under Settings → Language.
